This is the getting situated part of the wedding: the guests are seated, the attendants take their places and the bride walks down the aisle. Below I've included a sample order of events and some things you should definitely consider and plan in advance.
Processional
Example:
Music (This is a good auditory cue for guests, when the music changes it's time to be quiet.)
Guests are seated
Officiator and Groom take their place
Mothers are seated
Ushers are seated
Music
Attendants walk down the aisle
Music (You can keep the same song or you can start a new song.)
Everyone stands
Bride and Father walk down the aisle
Things to consider:
The amount of time it takes to walk down the aisle - to plan music and walking pace accordingly
Have someone designated in charge of ceremony music
The order of the attendants as they walk down the aisle
Who will seat the mothers (ushers are a common choice)
Will you have a flower girl or ring bearer?
The type or genre of music (you can choose anything you like, you don't have to have the bridal march)
